Who is the candidate?
|
Neck lift is recommended for people who start having the sagging skin
around neck area. Neck lift aims to reduce neck lines and remove the
sagging skin by tightening it.

How long should I stay in Malaysia for Full facelift surgery?
|
A patient should stay in Malaysia at least 10-14 days to complete a
whole process. On an arrival day in Malaysia, a patient should stay in
a hotel to relax from a long flight and have a surgery on the following
day. Neck lift will require 1 night stay in the hospital. Post
operative check up and stitches removal will be done 7 days after the
surgery.

How is surgery performed?
|
Neck lift will be done under General Anesthesia and takes 1-2 hours average. The incision of neck lift will be placed under the chin / or behind
ears. In an operation, the surgeon removes the excess skin and then
pulls the skin back. The patient may opt to combine neck lift with chin
liposuction to remove extra fat.

What is the post-surgical care?
|
After a neck lift surgery, the patient will have to use cold compress for 2 days. Some numbness may persist for 3-6 months.

How will the scar looks?
|
Scars are neatly hidden behind ears and lower hair line around neck area, hence the scar won’t be visible.

What are the possible risks and complications?
|
The possible main risks are swelling, bruising, bleeding, infection,
scarring and numbness, or change in sensation. Hair loss along the scar
edge may result in some cases. Following the surgeon’s advice will
reduce risks and complications.
