|
If you have a problem of sagging breasts caused by pregnancy and breast
feeding, then breast lift is advisable to you. Breast lift in Malaysia
aims to raise and reshape and appearance of the breasts.

How long should I stay in Malaysia for breast lift surgery?
|
A patient should stay in Malaysia at least 10 days to complete a whole
process. On an arrival day in Malaysia, a patient should stay in a
hotel to relax from a long flight and have a surgery on the following
day. Breast lift requires 2 nights stay in the hospital. Post operative
check up and stitches removal will be done 7 days after the surgery.

How is surgery performed?
|
The incision of breast lift is placed around the areola, vertically
down from the areola to the breast crease and horizontally along the
breast crease. The surgeon raises and reshapes the breasts. The excess
skin will be cut and the nipple and areola are repositioned to a
natural, more youthful height. Breast lift can be done conjunction with
breast implant to increase breast volume.

Will anesthesia be used?

Yes, breast lift here in Malaysia will be done under General Anesthesia and takes 1-2 hours average.

What kinds of implant are used for the surgery?
|
After the surgery, the patient needs to avoid lifting over head for 3-4
weeks. The patient should not resume strenuous activities till about 1
month after the surgery. A brassiere can be normally, but do not use
brassieres with metal support during the first month.

What is the post-surgical care?
|
The position of the scar depends on the location of the incision. Scars
are usually hidden in hair lines and gradually fade, although they will
never disappear completely. They will be not noticeable.

Breast lift will leave T-shaped noticeable scars but they will gradually fade and less obvious.

What are the possible risks and complications?
|
The possible main risks are swelling, bruising, bleeding, infection,
scarring and numbness, or change in sensation. Following the surgeon’s
advice will reduce risks and complications.
