Coolbatts is Home Insulation that is specially design for homes. Coolbatts is Rockwool Insulation which is fully wrapped with fire-retardant aluminium foil. It functions as thermal insulation and acoustic insulation as well as fire protection for homes because it reduces the risk of fire spreading through the ceiling.

Coolbatts is produced form a mixture of basalt and limestone which are melted in a furnace at approximately 1300°C. The molten materials is then spun into fine wool-like fibres by using our high-speed internal spinning technology and collected in a collection chamber and sprayed with thermosetting binder. The fibred coated with thermosetting binder are then heated, cured and bonded into a very light slab which we call Coolbatts. It will be cut into size and fully wrapped with double sided fire-retardant aluminium foil.
